Our founder Megan Bull was at the Gilroy Garlic Festival mass shooting in 2019. For the second anniversary of the tragic event that has an important basis in our organization's founding, we will be joining the Gilroy Strong Resiliency Center (GSRC) in holding a vigil to remember the victims, honor first responders, and help foster continued growth in building resilient communities for all those impacted. The vigil will be held at 5:15pm PT in the art expo garden adjacent to the GSRC at 7367 Monterey Rd in Gilroy, CA. It will include tributes from the community and a moment of silence for those we lost. The vigil will be followed by an open house at 6:30pm PT where survivors will be able to connect with each other as well as mental health professionals, participate in trauma coping events, and enjoy refreshments together.
